Professional Experience and Competence
Bruce Hahn is an SRA member of the Appraisal Institute and a Senior Member (ASA) of the American Society of Appraisers, accredited in Urban Real Property. He is a licensed real estate broker and certified general real estate appraiser in the State of California and has completed nearly 1,000 hours of specialized appraisal education in real estate appraisal, always exceeding the number of continuing education hours required by the Appraisal Institute for its designated members. He has qualified as an expert witness in Alameda and Contra Costa County Superior Courts and in United States Bankruptcy Court.
Mr. Hahn has been appraising real estate full time since 1989, and has appraised thousands of single-family residences, and hundreds of agricultural, commercial and industrial properties. Property types appraised include agricultural, multi-family residential, retail, industrial, office, vacant land, grocery stores, gas stations, day care centers, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, mobile home parks, bowling allies, automobile dealerships, mortuaries, mini-storage facilities, mini-lubes, churches, auto service buildings, and many other special purpose property types.
Professional Service
Active in the Northern California Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, Mr. Hahn served as Chapter President in 2005. He was also a delegate to the Appraisal Institute's Leadership Development and Advisory Committee in Washington DC in 2000 and 2004.
Community Service
Also active in his community, Mr. Hahn served as a Reserve Police Officer with the Walnut Creek Police Department from 1989-1993, and is an active member, and Past President, of the Walnut Creek Sunrise Rotary Club. He is also a member of the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce, and completed their Leadership Contra Costa Program in 2000.
